Transport is becoming more and more significant in the context of globalization. On the one hand it is related to the trade and cargo flows, on the other hand is concerned with increasing people’s mobility. Smart, green and integrated transport policy is our priority topic. We participate actively in research and innovation projects as well as in coordination and support actions in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. Our key focus area is logistics and urban mobility. We work closely with local public authorities by transferring knowledge and experience from more developed regions. We shape solutions and tools which in efficient manner helps to change behaviour of transport users. Smart Continent is a member of ECTRI – European Conference of Transport Research Institutes.

We conducting studies and data analysis in area of logistics and supply chains with specific focus on competitiveness and sustainability. We serve railways, ports and industrial clients designing strategies for large scale expansion projects. We conducting research in areas of decarbonisation of supply chains and shaping circular economies. Our researchers were involved into FP7 projects freight transport optimisation such as CLOSER, COFRET, BETSUFS II, BE LOGIC.
